Motorised Screen Blinds with Pelmets Installed in Blackrock, Dublin
AD Solutions supplied and installed a set of made-to-measure motorised screen roller blinds for this modern residential property in Blackrock, Dublin.
The installation combines BSC 201-01 and BSC 201-03 screen fabrics with motorised operation, smart hub control and custom pelmets that conceal the blind rollers and mechanisms. This creates a clean, integrated finish that works particularly well in contemporary interiors.
Discreet Pelmets for a Clean Finish
Each blind was finished with a pelmet designed to hide the roller and motor assembly from view. Instead of leaving the blind mechanism exposed, the pelmet creates a neat architectural line above the glazing and helps the blinds blend naturally into the room.
This type of concealed finish is especially effective in modern homes where minimal detailing and clean sightlines are important.
Smart Motorised Blind Control
The blinds were fitted with motorised operation and connected to a smart hub, allowing the homeowner to control the blinds conveniently as part of their smart home setup.
Motorisation is particularly useful for large glazed areas and rooms with multiple blinds, making it possible to operate several blinds quickly and consistently without manual chains or cords.
BSC 201-01 and BSC 201-03 Screen Fabrics
The project used a combination of BSC 201-01 and BSC 201-03 screen fabrics. Screen fabrics help reduce glare and strong sunlight while maintaining a bright interior and providing additional daytime privacy.
They are a practical solution for large windows and glazed doors where homeowners want solar control without completely blocking natural light.
Made-to-Measure Blinds in Blackrock
Every blind was measured specifically for the individual window and door opening. The combination of motorised blinds, concealed pelmets and smart control gives the installation a refined, built-in appearance rather than the look of a standard surface-mounted roller blind.
