About this project
This Adare awning brings custom mounting and adjustable lighting to a canopy under four metres wide. Special brackets form part of the fitting, with dimmable LEDs built into the arms.
The canopy is 3.9m wide and extends 3m. D308 fabric is paired with an anthracite frame. Its size makes it a useful example when a larger six- or seven-metre unit would be unnecessary.
A tailored mounting detail on a modest-sized canopy
Special brackets are not limited to the largest awnings. A smaller unit can still need an individual fitting arrangement because the building determines where and how it can be mounted.
The Adare installation combines that tailored detail with a canopy under four metres wide. For a comparable property, do not assume that a standard fixing position follows automatically from choosing a smaller size. Photographs and an assessment of the wall are useful starting points.
Solution and installation
The lighting brightness can be changed with the included dimmer. A motor operates the awning, and a wind sensor is included. The mounting brackets are specific to the fitting arrangement shown in this project.

For an awning in Adare or nearby Patrickswell, a smaller width does not remove the need to assess the wall. Include clear photographs of the proposed position if you are enquiring about a similar custom-fitted installation.
